Ans – He says that the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discriminations. They still live on a lonely island of poverty.

  1. What are the things needed to remove the discontent of the Negro ?

Ans – Freedom and equality are required to remove their discontent. They must be provided with equal opportunities for their development. Their cultural identity must be protected.

Ans – He thanks God that they are, at last, free. Slavery has been abolished. Everyone is equal in the eyes of law.

Ans – Martin Luther King Junior talks about those trials and tribulations which is faced by the Negroes around the country . When the Negroes raise their voice against this racial discrimination their voices are suppressed . They are misbehaved and treated as the last grade citizens .

That’s why Martin Luther suggests the nation to give Negroes the Citizenship rights , they should be given justice , there must not be isolated from the society , they must be regarded equally only then the dream must of a great nation would come true .

Ans – According to Martin Luther King Jr. , Negroes are discriminated in American society . They are sweltering in the furnace of injustice . Even they are not given the right to vote . That’s why he says the bank of Justice for Negroes is bankrupt .

  1. Do you think Martin Luther is a great orator ? What according to you are qualities of a good orator ? What does Martin Luther urge his people to do ?

Ans – Yes , I candidly say that Martin Luther is a great orator . According to me , the orator who is able to pull the attention of his audience till his last words and able to bring the audience parallel to his speech , is a good orator . Here , Martin Luther urges his people to stand unite and to raise voice for the freedom of Negroes so that they could enjoy the same privilege as the whites .
